Hi! I'm Laura, an interior designer based in Austin, Texas. The road to starting my company, Laura Quintanilla Home, began a few years ago when I took on the challenge of designing and project managing a full scale remodel of my family's home in our beloved Barton Hills. (However, one could also argue that it goes all the way back to when I was a kid asking for graph paper for Christmas so I could sketch floor plans!) I absolutely fell in love with the process, and realized a desire to help other families like ours see that with a little love and some thoughtful planning, it is possible to breathe some new life into these cool old houses. The preservationist in me also just loves to see homes reimagined and modernized, rather than knocked down.

Since completing our remodel I've jumped into the design world with both feet, taking classes at Parsons School of Design to expand my foundational knowledge, building relationships and learning from others in the industry, and fully renovating homes for new buyers. Now, I specialize in residential design - from furnishings to a single room refresh, full scale remodel, or new construction. I believe that good design should be accessible to everyone, and I always offer a tailored approach based on your vision, goals, and budget. I love getting to know you, beyond just your favorite colors, and working to design a home that is not only beautiful, but also works for the way you and your family live.
